unassailable ‘fit & forget’ pressure moulded cable systems for hostile environments

Gisma Series 24 Connectors

The Series 24 connectors are suitable for smaller design dimensions and ensure a strong technology connection with a variety of applications. They come with end bells that meet the requirements of safety classes IP 66 to IP 68 and have crimp contact which are great for quick and safe assembly.

These connectors provide an ideal solution to harsh environments as they are made with seawater and corrosion resistant bronze metal shells. The Series 24 connectors have a range of design and technical features that make them ideal for watertight installation.

Design Characteristics

With inverse insulation fitting and elastomer insulators, and with conical insulation barrier, the series 24 connector has beneficial design characteristics that make it a secure and watertight connector, from IP 66 to IP 68 models. They are of a modular design with secure metric locking thread ensuring a fast and secure connection even in a polluted environment.

Due to the shell material being seawater resistant (corrosion resistant) bronze, the connector better withstands marine environments and marine applications. It is a lightweight design with a robust keyway and crimp contacts.

With installation distances put in place, as well as protective conductors for protection against electric shock hazard, the Series 24 connectors meet with the VDE requirements.

Gisma Series 24: Technical Features

The technical features of the Series 24 connectors include a contact arrangement of 3 to 61 contacts and an operating voltage of up to 250 V. The many contact arrangement makes this connector the perfect solution to transmitting electrical and fibre optic signals. It also has an impressive maximum operating current of 40 A, and a dry mating capability.

These connectors can be set with pin or socket contacts for inverse versions.
