SMI to Showcase Expertise at UDT Exhibition & Conference, Stockholm
For over 25 years SMI has provided the backbone to Commonwealth naval platforms, guaranteeing performance of critical systems in the most hostile of environments.
From 13th to the 15th of May we will be showcasing our expertise to over 1200 delegates at UDT in Stockholm as part of the UK Pavilion. The Undersea Defence Technology Conference and Exhibition brings together professionals from both military and commercial backgrounds to focus on cutting edge technologies and their deployment.
We will be discussing our TelemetriX™ solution which builds on our pedigree of reliability and 23-year continuous capability approval. Produced using advanced chemistry and sophisticated thermoplastic pressure moulding techniques sealing is achieved not only mechanically but with chemical bonding at a molecular level solving underwater connectivity issues. With long-term sealing users can not only extend the life of their systems, cutting back on the costly maintenance cycle and reducing through-life costs, but also demand the performance promised by sonar and combat system design engineers.
Telemetrix is designed to support future capabilities of enhanced combat, communication and acoustic systems. Power, control and high-speed data transfer are delivered on our dependable architecture ensuring optimal performance and long-term reliability.
SMI products combine advanced chemistry with sophisticated thermoplastic pressure moulding techniques, married to complex tooling and process parameters to achieve the highest levels of integrity.
