SMI Celebrates International Women In Engineering Day
SMI is an equal opportunities employer. We are signatories to the Women in Defence Charter, our board has an even gender balance, and women contribute vital work across the company to support our success. Today is the Institution of Civil Engineers’ ‘International Women In Engineering Day’ so we thought we’d highlight the work of a couple of our brilliant engineers.
Firstly, I’d like to introduce you to Annabel who joined us as an apprentice and is developing a great career in engineering at SMI.
And here’s Caron, who has been at SMI for 18 years and is currently supporting us in the workshop with electrical and fibre optic assembly.
Our exciting growth plans means we are always looking for talented individuals, regardless of their background or identity, to become part of our success. If you’re interested in joining us on our journey, take a look at our current vacancies, where you will also find out more about the functions that make up our team and how to go about applying.
