Scientific Management International Ltd is certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
The Quality Management Standard, BS EN ISO 9001:2015, against which we are currently assessed states: “Top Management shall ensure that quality objectives, including those needed to meet the requirements for product, are established at relevant functions and levels within the organisation. The quality objectives shall be measurable and consistent with the Quality Policy”
In summary, our quality policy is dedicated to generating, implementing and maintaining a Quality System that complies with the above standard and ensures we meet all applicable requirements and meets our commitment to continual improvement of the quality management system.
Quality objectives for SMI
- To ensure that customer requirements, stated on orders, drawings and specifications are clearly translated into unambiguous production data. This applies to sales, administration, engineering and quality functions at all levels
- To accurately produce product from the Production Data Pack. This applies to production, purchasing, stores and quality functions at all levels
- To meet the timescales for delivery defined within accepted contracts. This applies to all functions and levels
