We love supporting new team members to challenge themselves and learn new skills. In particular, we are passionate about our apprenticeship scheme and look for a number of new apprentices to join us at our Andover site each year.
We’ve been running a level 3 engineering apprenticeship scheme for many years. Several of our apprentices have gone on to new roles within the company, like Ross who’s now Production Manager and Lachlan who’s now a Team Leader. In the past apprentices have also moved into different departments such as Quality.
We are excited to also now be expanding our apprenticeship scheme to include higher level technical and post graduate engineering apprenticeships, as well as apprenticeships in other business functions such as HR and compliance.
Line managers provide apprentices with hands-on guidance, support and feedback on their progress. There are also opportunities for them to talk to a mentor about skills development and career goals. All of our level 3 apprentices spend at least a day each week at college working towards their qualification.
