unassailable ‘fit & forget’ pressure moulded cable systems for hostile environments

Underground

Our pressure moulded cable systems were originally engineered for submarine pressure hulls so you might assume you would never come across them in everyday life. This isn’t the case if you’ve travelled on London’s Underground.

We have developed a self-testing current rail indicator device in partnership with our client to ensure safety of railway workers. The indicator lets workers know if the line about to be worked on is live or not – so if it fails, it could mean loss of life. The device uses our thermoplastic jacket moulding technology to ensure there can be no leaks in the termination jacket so the indicator will always work and safety is assured.

We can make this claim thanks to our 10,000 installations and zero leaks record which has been achieved on pressure moulded systems such as outboard cable systems on submarines.
