Wind power in the UK has set a third wind generation record for 2022 at the end of December – beating the previous record by over a gigawatt. Recently the UK government also announced that they are reviewing the moratorium on new offshore wind projects, so now is a great time for wind power.

The timing of the Offshore Wind Conference in Glasgow this week therefore couldn’t be better. The two day conference brings together over 500 delegates to discuss the latest wind projects, including green hydrogen, and supply chain opportunities.

The packed conference agenda was opened with a ministerial address from Nicola Sturgeon.
