SMI Demonstrates Further Commitment to Customers

SMI has started 2019 in the same way that they finished 2018 with continued expansion.

Having closed 2018 with a fourth successive year of record growth, SMI continued its expansion programme in 2019 by strengthening the team supporting customers.

SMI supplies its TelemetriX interconnect systems to a range of industries including defence, aerospace, energy and transport for critical applications which require fit and forget reliability.

To ensure those customers get the very best commercial and technical support SMI has a strong team of professionals and engineers working out of its four global offices.

We are pleased to welcome Amber Flower to the headquarters in Andover where she joins us as Sales Logistics Coordinator.

Amber’s experience in customer, service, team management, and compliance and her study of business management equip her perfectly for this role where she will lead customer support.

Jenny Shaw, General Manager of Sales and Marketing, said, “I am delighted to have Amber on board and I am confident that her addition to the team will further improve the level of service that our customers enjoy. Our commitment to exceptional delivery and quality performance was demonstrated by our bronze accreditation in the ADS Supply Chain 21 programme last summer and the creation of this role is a key part of our sustainable continuous improvement programme”.
