We’re absolutely delighted to pass on the news that Denise Hunt, SMI’s Director of Programmes, was informed today that she has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Contribution category of the Women in Defence Awards 2021.

The awards received 400 nominations in over 10 categories, with those nominated drawn from across the armed forces, civil service, MI5, defence industry and the defence third sector, so to be shortlisted is a huge honour.

“Denise has been absolutely vital to our growth as business, as she has an unerring sense for what our defence customers need, combined with an unrivalled ability to ensure we deliver those requirements to perfection.

She is a fantastic colleague and I am so pleased for her personally that her contribution has been recognised within the industry.”

Keith Wells, CEO of SMI

Denise will join a small number of other exemplary defence professionals who have been shortlisted at a ceremony that will take place in central London in October.
